Vivian Elise Vintage

First and foremost I must confess that I am a dress and gown lover! I absolutely wore lacy silk dresses around the house when I was a girl for no reason at all but to look pretty, and as an adult I still live to see a gorgeous dress. So when I was asked to participate in this vintage wedding dress photo shoot, I honestly was more excited to see all the gorgeous vintage dresses. On the grounds of Dirty Tree Brewery Matoli Keely Photography linked up with Vivan Elise Vintage for the ahhhmazing dresses with makeup by Jordan K. Winn and took some beautiful images. Here are some of my favorite shots. Check out more from this shoot on Glamour and Grace

New Years Eve Wedding ~ The Fairfax at Embassy Row

This past New Year's Eve we were in the heart of Washington D.C. at The Fairfax Hotel at Embassy Row. We brought in the new year celebrating with a Nigerian and Haitian couple. There was so much culture, great food, and beautiful people at this wedding. Their wedding day was captured by
Erika Layne Photography and I love all the details of their big day. Enjoy the photos!!!

Grecian Styled Shoot Feature on Style Me Pretty

I have been waiting and waiting and waiting for Style Me Pretty to feature our styled Grecian shoot from this past April! If you're in the wedding industry then you understand how difficult it can be to get your foot in the door. Trends and styles come and go with the seasons, especially in the floral industry, and staying on top means keeping your eyes open at all time. But when you find the courage to set a trend by designing with your heart and then hoping that a blog like Style Me Pretty will feature, it's extremely rewarding when you  see it being displayed to the whole wedding industry.

Matoli Keely Photography is the brains behind this styled shoot. The attention to detail in her photos sets her a part from many in this industry and I am so honored to have worked with her. Beautiful hair and makeup by Jordan K. Winn & Co.

It was such a pleasure working with these ladies. We had so much fun that day. Enjoy some of my favorite photos and then take a look at the rest of them HERE.
